the Rainbow
Band: Formed over a decade ago by two high school friends, Rainbow Page (vocalist and percussion) and Alan Shapiro (drummer). The Rainbow band specializes in high energy dance music with an emphasis on the classic Rock and R&B of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Featuring multi-instrumentalist Jack Martin on guitar and violin and Joe Conti on the amazing Chapman Stick. If you like to party, have fun and dance this is the band you want to have. The Rainbow Band has appeared in concert with Jimmy Cliff, War and others and has performed at hundreds of conventions for corporations from around the world, as well as weddings and special events. Based in Hawaii the Rainbow Band has had one of their songs, “Living in a Fantasy” featured on the hit T.V. show Beverly Hills 90210.
